Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Michelle Solomon, a Richmond native, grew up in Midlothian, VA. She received an undergraduate degree from James Madison University with a B.S. in Health Sciences with a Biology minor. She completed her doctoral studies at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. In her time at ICO she was involved in several organizations which included American Optometric Student Association, National Optometric Student Association, Contact Lens Society, Tomb & Key Honor Society, Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and a student member of the Virginia Optometric Association. Dr. Amanda Lindsey is originally from Cheshire, Connecticut, and brings a strong academic foundation and a passion for patient care to Solomon Eye Associates. She graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree, also magna cum laude, from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. During her time at SCO, Dr. Lindsey was actively involved in several professional organizations, including the American Optometric Student Association, National Optometric Student Association, Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, and the Virginia Optometric Association as a student member.
