Dr. Robert Levy, O.D

Although he looks much younger, Dr. Levy has actually spent over 26 years in primary care optometry and contact lens care. He joins us from a local medical/surgical practice, and for the last 12 years he has worked side-by-side with ophthalmologists providing comprehensive medical and optometric care.

He is a local product, graduating from Douglas Freeman High School and the University of Virginia, before heading off to Pennsylvania College of Optometry for his optometry degree.  He is a member of Gold Key International Optometric Society, and was vice-president of his optometry school class. He was popular as a teaching assistant to the classes below his during optometry school. In 1991, Dr.Levy was among the first class of Virginia optometrists to be awarded a medical therapeutic license from the Board of Medicine.

Dr. Levy participated in the FDA clinical trials on Lasik in 1998, specifically in the phase allowing farsighted-astigmatic Lasik approval in the United States.

With his medical expertise, Dr. Levy adds to the medical services already available in our office, as well as providing primary care eyeglass and contact lens exams.

His hobbies include playing bass guitar in a local rock & roll band, scuba diving, softball, golf, and volleyball.  He is married and lives just north of "The Rivah". When you see him, ask him about his Jeapordy neck-to-neck experience. You will be impressed with his quick wit and expertise of just about anything!

Our staff love serving the patients, and they all go the extra mile to provide the best care as possible for our patients.

Erynn is known for her encouragement, enthusiasm, and patience. She has been known to sit for hours with young or timid patients to train them on how to insert a contact lens into their eyes. We love Erynn!

Travis is always pleasant and calm. He is a 'Jack of all Trades' and can help out with any of the office duties. He often lightens up the office by offering his jokes and making others feel comfortable.

Grace is able to help run the practice smoothly with her extensive computer and medical knowledge. She humbly will not admit how smart she is, and our patients love her sweet attitude and attention.

Michele is a whiz at pre-testing patients and making sure all the measurements are accurate for the doctor. She is quick to make friends with all of our patients, and she is always dedicated to providing the best patient care as possible for each patient.

Teresa helps keep the Practice running by filing the insurance and following up on claims. She has the never-ending job of keeping up-to-date with insurance policies. She is very dedicated to the practice, and will help out in other areas of the office whenever needed.

Molly helps out on Saturdays with special projects. She has the most positive attitude in the world, and there is always a smile on her face. We love her ability to jump in and dedicate herself to any task!

Travis tries to take the peppermint patties away from the ladies!
